Mark's team manages Spotify's global relationships with major and independent labels, music publishers, and songwriters - driving platform-wide engagement with Spotify's promotional tools and ad products, breaking-artist programs, industry advocacy, songwriter visibility, and day-to-day B2B commercial partnerships.
Before Spotify, Mark spent eight years at Google and YouTube in EMEA, APAC, and global roles spanning artist and label relations, music licensing, marketing, digital advertising, content production, and the build and launch of Google Play, YouTube Music, and YouTube Shorts. He developed a roster of award-winning projects and collaborations with major and independent artists worldwide.
Mark has also held roles at Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, and MTV Networks. He has lived and worked in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, and the UK, and brings experience across every major music market. He's also an enthusiastic live music fan, vinyl collector, and was a music writer in a past life.
