Something Something
Liam James Ward is the Founder & CEO of Something Something, the digital-native content strategy studio putting rule-breaking storytelling at the heart of every social media campaign. He leads a global collective of young creatives working across social strategy, content production, and fan engagement in more than 30 countries - though he frames his role less as "the boss" and more as a custodian of that talent, still deep in the craft of championing young creative voices and turning passive audiences into real, devoted fans.
Under Liam, Something Something works with some of the biggest names in the world - from Billie Eilish, Jennifer Lopez, and Marshmello to icons like Muse, Gorillaz, and Wu-Tang Clan - while helping break the next generation, including Alex Warren, Lola Young, Djo, and Laufey. That instinct for culture has made the studio a sought-after partner well beyond music, trusted by Meta, TikTok, Google, Live Nation, Soho House, and Riot Games as a voice that's youthful in outlook but serious in delivery. It was named Music Ally's Agency of the Year 2025, with further honours from Music Ally Sandbox, the Lovie Awards, and The Drum Awards.
Liam's path started early in the record shops, studios, and venues of his hometown in the Black Country, before roles in digital marketing and the major labels - steering #1 album campaigns for The Script, Tom Walker, and Stormzy, and taking on A&R and playlisting at Warner Music Group. Those years convinced him the industry needed a new kind of support online, and in 2021 he founded Something Something to provide it.
