Ralph Torrefranca is Executive Director of A&R at Angry Mob Music, where he leads creative development across the company’s songwriter, artist, and producer roster. With nearly two decades in the music industry, Ralph has built a career around championing emerging talent and nurturing long-term artistry. Prior to joining Angry Mob, he held roles at Red Light Management and Grandstand Media, where he managed artists and led development efforts. He began his career as the youngest DJ in the history of KJEE Santa Barbara, later expanding into PR and touring with artists such as Ben Gibbard, Jackson Browne, Radiohead, and Local Natives.

At Angry Mob, Ralph has played a key role in identifying and developing a diverse group of writers and producers, including Bailey Bryan (Shaboozey, Kiana Ledé), Jake Scott (Platinum-certified hits including Russell Dickerson’s “She Likes It”), Joe Pepe (iann dior, Travis Barker), and Bus (Ty Dolla $ign, Kendrick Lamar). He is also the founder of Angry Mob's New Normal Writing Camp, a diversity-focused songwriting initiative, and has authored a widely shared Billboard op-ed on equity and representation in writers' rooms. In addition to his publishing work, Ralph is the frontman of the post-punk band Cuffed Up and an award-winning filmmaker whose work has been recognized by Sundance and the Academy Nicholl Fellowship.
