Rithik is a Managing Partner at Joker Deck Ventures, a venture fund focused on emerging music and audio technology at the pre-seed stage. As an undergraduate student, he co-founded NYU Generative Audio & AI, an interdisciplinary research group empowering non-technical creators to enter the AI music space. He recently conducted The Future of Music Production: Is AI Taking Over?, a blind listener study between AI and human music advised by GRAMMY winner Mr. Sonic and presented at Sony’s Technology Conference.
Rithik advises various organizations on AI strategy in the music tech space, including the PhD Lab It-Jim, provenance technology provider Beatlibrary, the Munich Music Labs, and serves on the International Sound Awards Jury, and the WIPO AIII Technical Exchange Network (TEN).
During his senior year at NYU, he began presenting his work as a speaker or moderator, including Mondo, ESNS, and Berklee’s AI Music Summit, and was interviewed about his perspective on AI in music production on the Musonomics Podcast and Audio Products Podcast.
As “RKY”, he’s scored award-winning films, musicals, and collaborated with a major label A&R. He also produces hip-hop music and engineered the Tiny Desk Submission for the GRAMMY U-accepted band The Millers.
